Frakking APC ups's... Aren't worth the powder to blow them to Hell...

^D^
I love APC. I'm not talking the cheap crap from best buy. I'm talking stuff like smart-ups and higher with true sine wave power.

I've tried other brands and they are crap, such as blowing away a motherboard when a computer was plugged into it. A UPC should NEVER EVER blow away something plugged into it, a simple fuse would have stopped that. I've tried belkin server UPS and it was crappy too.

So then I decided to just play Skyrim for awhile, and all my Skyrim settings were gone. I had to reset all my graphics settings, mouse settings, etc.

But it DID at least work.
If skyrim supports cloud settings syncing thats why. Usually for games that support steam cloud sync for saves or settings, if desired cloud can be disabled in the steam game properties thing.

Be CAREFUL about using steam games (talking in general now, not skyrim) that cloud sync during a time when it can't sync. I've not tested it, but knowing valve, if you restart and play, your local files will overwrite the remote ones, and theoretically one could destroy progress in a game.
