Many of these are awesome. Serious awesome.
I finally started this two nights ago, on the 360. My quick thoughts:
1) I know they improved the shadows, but it seems too harsh. Too many features are now hidden in shadows. I'm not a fan 2) Kill-cam gets old quickly. It didn't bother me in Fallout but does here. I guess because Fallout already had frozen time before going kill-cam 3) I really, really miss more carefully tailoring my character. I also miss being able to make an albino orc, or a purple-haired redguard 4) On that note, why are the benefits of each race not told when you pick one? I played Oblivion twice as an Orc and once as a redguard, went redguard this time. Will I regret it? I don't know the differences so I can't say 5) As a whole the world is more "detailed" but less aesthetically pleasing 6) That said, it still looks awesome 7) I like wolves howling before attacking you 8) I like bandits in camps warning you to stay away rather than just charging to their inevitable death 9) This interface... fix it! My fault for not going PC, I know.
I agree that dark dungeons would be awesome, although in Oblivion I never went into a dungeon without a ring of night eye, anyway. |
