This is a statement with no view of history.
In the past there were many more PC exclusives because the consoles at the time could not in any possible way play those games. There is a reason that you didn't have Quake on your Super Nintendo.
These days PC games are held back (tech-wise) just so they can release multi-platform games. From a business perspective it makes more sense to be available for multiple systems. It has nothing to do with piracy. Why? For the simple reason that despite what this douche says, there are still games that sell much better on the PC regardless of weather or not they're multi-platform.
His argument might work on someone that only became aware of the world around them in the past 5 years, but for anyone with a few functioning brain cells, and a memory, his statement is nothing but bullshit buck-passing for his own failures. |
