Are you sure? The majority seems to think otherwise.
I ask because I was interested in this game prior to its release, but I had my reservations which proved to be correct. When I saw this post announcing the DLC was now available, I thought 'maybe' they fixed the bug ridden core game prior to selling the DLC, but by the majority of the responses it doesn't sound like they did.
But, I'm glad that it works for you and you are happy. ;-)
