Even SWG lasted longer than two years, and it didn't have anywhere near the pre-launch fanbase of SWTOR. Most of the beta testers I know can't wait for the launch, and most of them are ex-WoW players. I frankly don't see the "stiffness" some people complain about when I watch SWTOR pvp game-action videos. When I think "stiff," I think of Warhammer Online.
