Well... it's not so much the price, as it is "the price for the same over-saturated and genre-stale shit".
I used to love MMOs, but the genre needs a Paradigm Shift forward in game play mechanics, before I'd resort to paying a fee or doing major transactions, again.
I'm hoping Guild Wars 2 Dynamic Events will be that "Paradigm Shift". ...and the beauty of it is that there is no subscription fee for that game... so the risk is minimal.
Seriously, I've "paid to play" so many incomplete, overly-buggy, status-quo MMO's, that I'm sick to death of them, and I obviously feel that they are a "rip-off". I absolutely refuse to "pay-to-beta" anymore.
Now, I'm not saying SW:TOR will be low quality garbage... but as I said before, there are design decisions that they made, and that I disagree with strongly enough, that I wouldn't give them a dime until I tried their game first.
So, I guess I'll wait for a (Post-Launch) free trial offer.
