No, that's not the same thing at all. With those games you got A LOT more content than modern day "DLC" gives for the price. Modern day DLC is a horrible rip off and is just nickle-and-diming. It's irritating how these devs now just can't wait to bleed us dry. This is why I like indie games so much more these days. There it's more about the games like it used to be, rather than making a killing.
