My friend had it and I checked it out, controls seemed just fine to me, engine feels a little old graphically, but as others have said, who cares if its a good game. Well that's just it. If it's a good game you're gonna replay it more than once. And if you come back to it years later, you'll replay it again and still enjoy it. I mean all of us replay games like BG/BG2/PST the Westwood CNC series, Freespace/2, Deus Ex, and so on because they're fun.
To me based on the leaked build, the game is damn near as close to the original a possible. Except you don't need some of the 'clunky' stuff that you originally did. |
