I'm not one for television series, especially when there is a story behind it as opposed to detached episodes with little to no continuity between each one. That said, this show and Game of Thrones have sucked me in in spite of the above mentioned issue. While I hate the week between episodes and hate the downtime between seasons even more, it usually paid off in the end. Although I felt the direction TWD took was a little slow at times, the core of the show is immersing and I hope the new writers can capitalize more on the events rather then wasting as much screen time found in the first season.
