Just about every MMO Publisher / Developer fails these days with a stale genre and an over-saturated market. Even Rift is starting to plummet. Guild Wars 2 seems like the only thing that will stand out / possibly rejuvenate the genre. We'll see if that game has any lasting appeal... the rest of them, that have come out lately, are only good for 1-3 months... or complete utter flops, out the gate. MMOs are about to do what the video game industry as a whole did back in 1983 - self-immolate from oversaturation.
