id clearly doesn't know what they're doing. They should be creating one master control system and intentionally hampering all the rest of them to ensure that everyone has to play the game the way they want them to.
That's the way REAL developers like Obsidian handle things these days. THEY dictate how a player should enjoy their game, not the other way around.
