They do handle like matchbox cars.

It's also pretty telling they canceled the beta test, it lasted all of about one week. In that week it suffered horrible FPS problems with zero settings turned up, no AA options, it only ran in window, etc.

It's a pity, I liked the first one and it was nice they had an enhanced driving model. They didn't seem to learn anything from the first game or subsequent racing titles. I'm sad to say Need for Speed cars handled more like real cars than in this game.
