This has only became a problem in the last 5 or so years when PC games started becoming PC ports. The biggest problem being games that no longer support more than 3 (left, right, wheel) buttons. Let alone rebind those buttons to whatever you want. This. Thing is it costs money to take the time to port a game to PC well. All boils down to money.
