I would get the WD, but make sure it is the model with the 8MB cache.

I have a 120GB WD w/ with 8MB cache sitting on my desk at home. 3 months I've had it with no chance to take the ten minutes to install it. My system has 80GB of storage right now and I have 3GB free

I gotta get that drive installed.
