Its kinda hilarious that EA/Dice do it better. Controlled servers and no mods also means no splintered communities. Except those communities largely won't be around 4 years later. Either because of lack of interest (without modding/maps) or the publisher simply pulled the servers. Still tons of BF2 and BF1942 servers....there are even BFV servers still going strong...and AFIK it was the least popular one.
So what do you mean again?...sure EA kills off servers,..but DICE does not. |
