Very solid game, I agree. Good atmosphere and immersion for me when I played it. If you use VSync, remember not to set it in the game's video options. If you use your driver's control panel to lock VSync instead you'll get -much- smoother frame rates. There's a lot of other more elaborate fixes for that problem, but just doing that solves it.
