I do enjoy Paradox Games, I love grand strategy games but unfortunately there's no other company that makes them at the level of Paradox. And to be honest Semper Fi stuck a nerve with me, HoI3 is still broken and they launch a paid expansion that fixes things that should have been fixed on the base game at launch.
It seems VikyII isn't plagued with bugs but Viky was the most complex game Paradox made and people are waiting for a high amount of complexity. From the forums I've noticed that a lot of people are already expressing doubts at how streamlined a lot of the game design decisions seem to be, when the game comes out I do fear it may hit Paradox quite badly as a lot of people won't pre-order anymore, or even buy their games until the second or third expansion.
I enjoy Paradox but HoI3 and now VikyII makes me wonder what the hell is going on there. |
