Nah, activision most likely used some charge backs to bring down the net sales, which are probably shady accounting at LEAST but they could convince a court they were justifiable.

It's the same standard corporate bullshit to prevent them from paying legitimate taxes like offshoring your corporate headquarters to a mailbox in Cayman.
