To each his own. This argument reminds me of all the people saying how Team Fortress 2 looks like shit, because of the cartoon art direction.

Not the same thing. TF2 has a much higher poly count, much higher texture resolution, much higher particle cap, etc. I can understand WHY WoW looks so ugly, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.
