There's been some pretty good combat mods so far. Sad to hear that. Another Total War game I'll be skipping. I remember playing the demo for the last Total War game... I had been waiting for an age of sail tactical game for ages. I jump into the naval battles and was pretty turned off. It kept preaching that the naval battles needed historical strategy to win, but I never could win using historical strategy. Christ, I even went back and used the historical strategy used to win and it still didn't help. I uninstalled the demo after on particular attempt where I was boarding a ship that was nearly sinking and the crew nearly decimated so I could capture her. Somehow my ship ended up striking her colors instead. I guess when you're outnumbered 4 to 1 you have the advantage???
