I'm honestly surprised too. Remember when you used to see games that were to have StarForce on them having their demos protected too? That was apparently done so that people couldn't use the demo's EXE as a means to backwards engineer the final product. I figured something similar could be done here but since this is only the multiplayer beta and there's no save's to put on the Ubisoft servers, maybe they don't need it.
