It was definitely heavy on the grinding. But I guess I prefer it that way over the newer MMO's which see way too easy to attain level/loot and solo everything. Things have more value when you have to work to get it. I recall in FF, I was level 60 and I still couldn't solo a level 30 goblin. But its true, each session was 5+ hours or its just a waste of time. On top of that, I think 2 of those 5 hours were spent looking for a white mage or red mage, hehe.
