i lived in california most of my life. yes it is expensive to live here because of the taxes but try comparing the infrastructure of california to another state with little or no state tax. it simply does not compare. and to the person who mentioned texas as business friendly. that is true simply because the entire state does not have an effective master plan. a visit to houston will reveal residential homes intermingled with industrial and manufacturing facilities on the same street. there is practically no zoning law in texas. no rules to follow.
