By "honoring" I was referring to the fact that IW got it's fan base & roots from the PC market. =)
Yes I know, I just think it's odd that anyone would expect the company to honor pc gamers. You can say that it was PC gamers that made them what they are but I think that the people inside the company made them what they are. They are the ones that continued to make outstanding games that PC gamers wanted and this was something console gamers wanted as well, better games. I think it's unfair to say that any company owes their success to any gamers in particular. Gamers are going to play the best games no matter what platform, but it's their hard work that makes that game in the first place, not the gamers playing them. And if you looked at sales you could argue that PC gamers were not honoring the hard work of the devs as well as console gamers are honoring that work by buying more units. |
