89. Re: Borderlands' Firm Street Dates Oct 25, 2009, 04:53 Ihya
Again, tell me another hobby that does that to its customers.

Train spotting? People queue for ages only to find the train is delayed or cancelled. The music industry? Gigs are frequently cancelled at the last minute because an artist breaks a leg, can't sing or... you know... dies. Get off your fucking high horse and stop pretending you have a moral high point. It doesn't make economic sense to release the game early, nor should a publisher be responsible for the fuck up of a greedy retailer hoping to benefit from breaking their contract. Or should we all live in your idyllic world where we all sit around eating candyfloss, picking flowers and singing sweet lullabys? Oh, how I love the blue skies and fluffy white clouds. Gambolling lambs and bubbling brooks. Sweet dew on a brisk spring morning. Jet planes meeting in the air to be refuelled. A large cup of hot chocolate and cuddling up in front of the TV. Love and all things eternal. Prick.

Someone finally gets it! 2k set the rules, and if you don't like them go play something else. You should be angry at the vendors for being greedy and selling people a game they knew wouldn't work for a week, but I have yet to see anyone being pissy about the retailers. They are the douches here, not 2k.
