Congratulations on not reading the thread or article. This has nothing to do with regular MMO subscription fees that everyone expects to pay while they are subscribed to the MMO. This is about them backcharging fees for months players did not subscribe amongst other things(Hidden POL fees, charging interest to backcharged fees and other such wonderful things). This stuff was not only NOT mentioned on the box but it was not mentioned in the User Agreement either until very recently. They definitely have a valid cause for a class-action.

The regular monthly fees are the second item listed (out of 8) as "deceptive advertising, unfair and undisclosed business practices, and concealment."

The first item is "Licensing of the online game software disguised as a sale", which is what just about all games and other software do.

The suspended-account fees and other more reasonable complaints are points 3-8.
