It is not an experience for everyone. Background noise can block some of the quieter passages, and those who use the CD to rip files for an iPod will find that Mudcrutch sounds quieter than other bands. That's why you load Rockbox onto your iPod and use ReplayGain. Students now avoiding IT degrees, despite good job prospects Maybe because we don't want to sit in front of a computer for 12+ hours a day doing what amounts to computerized menial work? Not to mention the lack of overtime pay, outsourcing, obsession with useless certs... All these reasons and more are why I switched majors from CS to a natural science.
