So the only way to find out if the game is good is to drop $50 and check it out? Sure as hell screenshots and videos of the game are going to do it less "justice" than any demo, no matter how crippled or limited.
Agreed. Not a very smart move on their part. Combine this with all of the negative blog-o-sphere sh*te rolling around about this game,and it looks downright stupid.
A smarter, a more "last-10-years-of-technology" move would be to have some (small) portion of the initial game in a free demo, and a "BUY NOW/DOWNLOAD NOW" link when they reach the end of the demo.
