Hi Blue,
I know that my post count isn't high but I've been coming here since this was a site dedicated to Quake, pre UGO.
I come here because this is the only site that gives me concise, consolidated news about PC gaming. I can go to literally thousands of sites to see posts about console games. I do understand that the console market has taken off and that there are some heretics...err...people that have abandoned the One True Faith...err..gone over to consoles that were once PC gamers exclusively.
I think the greatest thing that makes Blue's News what it is are the people in the community. I think by highlighting console games more, you're going to bring in more console players which, from my experience, tend to be annoying, immature, foul mouthed children who will pretty much treat this site like they do Xbox Live. The words "fuck" and "nigger" will soon become status quo, along with AOL speak, without heavy moderation.
Right now, I do not think you do a lot of heavy moderation because the current community doesn't require it. Sure, sometimes we get a bit rowdy but we're not like that all the time.
I see that people are saying "But I play consoles too" and that's great, all of my kidding aside. I own four 360s so I'm among them. However, I am not among "average" console players here and, truthfully, I don't want to be.
