uh am I the only one who doesn't even blink twice at in game ads?

why is it such a big deal, product placement is everywhere in our lives you shouldn't need to even think about it when you see it.

Isn't that the point? We are bombarded by ads in every other aspect of our waking lives. Why should we just roll over when another venue for entertainment slides into being a mass-market advertising vehicle?
