Does not exist in the major media. Case in point:

"Most fans paid $0 for Radiohead album"

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071106/ap_on_hi_te/radiohead_download_study

First of all ALEX VEIGA, AP Business Writer, has no empirical data even suggesting most of those downloading the album were even fans. In fact he writes, "Between Oct. 1 and Oct. 29, about 1.2 million people visited the Web site." Most Radiohead fans I know paid $5-$8.

This Alex guy should be fired for writing a horrible, innuendo-filled diatribe against Radiohead's right to release their music however the hell they feel like it. And yes, I'm very passionate about this topic. The sooner bands do this the sooner organizations like the RIAA can kiss our collective asses!
