My opinion on this is very simple... If I get more than 8-10 hours of fun out of a game than I consider it a bargain at $50. If I play it a considerable time beyond that without paying extra then I consider myself lucky. For example I played BF2 many hundreds of hours. I almost feel bad about how much fun/enjoyment I got out of this game for a measly 50 bucks. I would have loved to see a subscription model for that game and in fact FOR ANY game that goes beyond the normal 8-12 hours of fun and becomes something of an ongoing hobby. Its the only way to ensure ongoing support and regular content updates.
