Dagok, if you're worried about experiencing things before you die (and you will die), then I find it just hilarous that your #1 concern is a fuckin' video game.
Gas saved is fine as long as it doesn't cost more money to save the gas; because then you'd just be an idiot. Especially if you tried to justify your purchase. But I know you wouldn't do that...
Anyway, you're right; I won't be playing TF2 for at least 6 months because I don't believe that any game is worth more than $20. You don't want more physical property taking up your limited space and I don't want to spend more than $20.
BTW: someone stated that the games are tied to your steamID and this is true; however, because Valve isn't entirely stupid and they realize that people do sell their old games, they do provide a transfer service for a new keycode for the game free of charge.
