What kind of mouse is it Warhawk?
You did update the game right, as well as get the latest mouse drivers?
It's a Logitech MX518. I was using the MX510 for years with no issues at all.
I did update the game to the latest patch and I'm pretty sure the drivers are the most up to date, but I guess I'll have to check again.
I am downloading steam/HL2 at home while at work today, so I'll check a different game tonight as well.
It's just weird that the mouse and keyboard work in the menus and when the game starts I can jump (I use numberpad key 3) but nothing else works except ctrl-alt-del. The numlock key seems to function as well, as if I turn it off I can't jump.
Maybe I need to reset the default keys and see what happens. Very strange.
Oh, but you can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you.
