What I don't get is what he thinks the alternative is. I mean, if I decide to boycott Starforce games, am I supposed to buy X3 anyway, because it was the publisher's decision to use it, not the developers? Or am I supposed to just go ahead and buy Starforce games, despite the fact they break (virtually) my dvdrom?
Hey, if they want to sell me a version of the game that doesn't have copy protection, I'd be happy to pay them the money directly and cut out the publisher that is 'forcing' them to use it. But without that option, they are going to take the flak for whatever decision the publisher makes. They have to learn to live with it, because there's no other viable option.
