Oh, I am being hard on it, but my focus really is the implementation rather than the actual content. The content is a little bit on the light side, but I am way too early in and maye it really expands later on (or maybe there just never was accounting for new playrs.) But honestly, I almost do not care about the story because it is so rough or sloppy in its implementation.
Overall, the changes can be jarring and it just feels really forced.
And I actually have two ships on this current run. For just fooling around, for just wanting to learn the mechanics, for having my two earlier non-starts (auto-pilot, friendly fire,) I am currently playing on the quickstart setting.
I do wish I could minimize; it has been a long time since I played a game that would not let you access the Start Menu/alt-tab/three-finger salute and then come back to the game. Yeah, I can exit the game, but I have to shut it down from the taskbar, else be forced to reboot my entier system when I get stuck at the black screen 'o death when I try to come back.
I do have some bugs with commands not being registered or auto-pilot defaulting to something other than my current target. The game is not unplayable, but it definitely needs some patch love... Can I gripe about the crummy shirt? Heh. Guessing I will have to manually map all my controls, Ray
