join a pub clan. Exactly. They're also known as gaming communities. Those are generally the ones that play the games together without the 'requirement' of matching. I haven't had any interest in matching in games for ages and stuck around in the community I'm in because there's usually someone playing one of the games I feel like and no one harasses me about matches.
