Maybe because Sci-Fi is a bit of a risk. Certainly when it comes to literature, Fantasy outsells Sci-Fi by 10-to-1 (I know because I'm a Fantasy author). If that were to equate to the MMO market then publishers would be saying "10% of the MMO crowd? I think not". They fail to realise that Sci-Fi will draw in *new* players, like Planetside did.

I still want a Battletech MMORPG.
