Chalk up another vote for AVG from me.

Also y'all might want to keep http://www.majorgeeks.com/ in your favorites list.

I downloaded the evaluation version of Windows XP Service Pack 2. I don't know if I feel more safe or not, but the nice little shield icon in my system tray is a little reassuring.

Once SP2 is final I think I'll do a clean install of XP and apply all service packs, install AdAware, AVG, and Spybot and then make a Ghost image of my drive. Then if something ever happens I'm prepared.
