"Newdow argued that having his daughter listen to the pledge causes harm to him" Oh the poor baby! Well she can plug her ears if she wants. It's totally optional, I don't see what's wrong with it. I agree with the poster above that the phrase "under God" should not have been added in the first place but now that it's there, leave it alone. No one's required to participate.
