Thats because the Boston area companies are outsourcing to India. Did you ever say what you did for work?

All tech companies are.

I majored in CS and English. Wisely, I distanced myself from the CS. I've had good offers from companies like Monster.com, but I could afford to be picky and none of them offered quite enough cash.

Right now I'm doing financial/marketing analysis for a nationwide mortgage company. I'm the only analyst they have, but I'm a whiz at all things Office/Excel, good with the marketing, and willing to wear about 8 hats in the company and do all the smaller IT jobs, making it easier than waiting for actual IT. They've kept me damn happy, but they're in the wrong state, and just merged with one of the largest mortgage companies in the country, so the floor is about to drop and all of us not selling or closing loans are about to get nice severance packages.

'Sall good. Time to fall back on that LSAT score.
