Theoretically speaking....Vote Quimby |

Speaking completely theoretically, how would one go about respawning after one is killed. IS there a command to this via the console? I would hate to, in theory, have to quit the game and then enter again every time some no good soldier decides to shoot me.
Again, theoretically speaking, I predict the game will run pretty nice on my system, even if it is rather top-of-the-line-in-2000. I can only run Prince of Persia at very low FPS, and yet I predict that STALKER will run at oh...about 22-23 FPS. The problem is, or rather would be if I had the alpha in my possession, that I either end up on a map surrounded by baddies and die very quickly, or end up on a map with no one on it and just run around looking for something to do.
I must say, that if I had the leaked version, I would certainly be impressed by the sky effects, as well as the game designer's ability to portray "bleakness" visually, while maintaining a very realistic environment.
