tempus-- just outta curiosity ... Did you pay for a license to broadcast a shoutcast stream? (I am assuming it is a shoutcast b/c of the port number :8000) If not, did you know that you are in violation of the RIAA's digital millennium copyright act? That is, if you are shoutcasting copyrighted work. I can't access your shoutcast b/c of a firewall, so if you are broadcasting your own stuff I wouldn't know. I had a shoutcast server up for quite sometime but I took it down when the RIAA started going after people. Anyway, I am wondering if you know something that I don't, like a loophole around the DMAC?
If it doesn't affect anyone else, then do it. |
