Well, I just think that it's extremely amusing that people don't think & spout off something without putting a spin of perspective on it.
Now I can agree that there won't be that many CS:CZ sales if they throw it on the stores now. But CS:CZ isn't anywhere close to the selling power potential of a Doom3 or HL-2 game. It doesn't matter if you put out Doom3 now or on December 15th. Either way, it would be a *HUGE* Christmas hit. And quite possibly, some stupid bitch kids wouldn't know about it unless they saw it at their friends house & their jaws dropped & they got startled from the moody music & creepy crawling freaky creatures. HL-2 will produce the same effect as kids who didn't know about it will realize how incredibly awesome the interaction in the game is & how it allows for so many replays of the game & how the multiplayer games are crazy and fun with people shooting garbage cans at each other. Put it out at Christmas & it will do well, but it would do far better if word of mouth were allowed to get the game to speak for itself. Movies are nice. Someone owning the game & you being allowed to sit down in front of it for 20 minutes is something much more powerful.
Anyway, about all that bitch ass school kid stuff. I just think kids are idiots & shouldn't be allowed to own the game or any game that doesn't begin with Pickachu or some shit. Just like booze & voting, you shouldn't be allowed to enjoy a vice that explores violence & mature content. Mainly because you won't know how to appreciate it. But instead a huge percentage compared to real adults with create & use cheats, cheat-codes, and abuse any exploit found. Then the rest of you will complain like little girls that cheaters ruin the game. If the game was only available to adults, we wouldn't hear about your completely ignorant views of marketing and profit margins. We would be able to go to any server & get our asses kicked by someone & not have to think 'is he cheating'?
So yeah, every kid is a little bitch ass to me. You are the reason these games are mass produced. But you are also the reason that they are mass- abused.
