There is a Left 4 Dead 2 Interview on Strategy Informer talking with Valve's Doug Lombardi about the multiplayer zombie shooter sequel. Doug has already answered enough questions about backlash over the L4D2 announcement to turn into a zombie himself, but he explains Valve's position once again, and expresses hopes that fans will reserve final judgment "until we’ve put all our cards on the table."

I think you may be putting to much emotion into what is just a product (enjoyable entertanment at best) Don't give them a pass for it, don't buy their stuff based on what you think it might be. Wait till it's been about for a while and you have read about it, and/or played it at a friends house and/or played it in a free trial form. This is to me all blown up bullshit, most of the time it comes down to people expecting current TF2 updating (which is way out of whack with how much people paid for it! - you just can't arruge that!) when at times there as been just as many people unhappy with what has happend with it updates, at time, than this. Just my view.
