Team Fortress 2 Patched

Steam News has details on a new patch that's now automatically available for Team Fortress 2, Valve's teamplay shooter. The new version adds a "Discard" button to the item pickup panel, adds a backstab custom death animation to the Heavy, changes the Dead Ringer so it can be activated while carrying the flag, and more. The notes also include an entry about a Day of Defeat: Source server crash that's fixed.

I had to do a double take, because for a moment I thought it said "Left 4 Dead patched". But then I came to my senses. They don't patch Left 4 Dead, they just make you buy it all over again.
