Out of the Blue

The buzz on the Star Trek movie is so strong and the trailers look so good MrsBlue is saying she may actually come with me to see it, which is high praise, as she hates going to the movies. I think it doesn't hurt that she thinks the new (err, old?) Kirk is cute.

Happy birthday to my brother, as today WalterEgo turns, well, hmm. At this point I think I'm going to start claiming he is my *older* brother... I may have to lie about his age, too.

i never liked star trek (besides thinking first contact was awesome) and kind of thought the new one looked a little too superhip douchebaggy but the reactions so far seem positive. my girlfriend wants to go see it this weekend so i guess they acheived the impossible in wanting to make normal people watch a star trek movie.

that mirror's edge photoset made me laugh a couple times if nothing else. mirror's edge was all about the city and the skyline, having your model stand on the wire fence of a parking garage for hilariously dopey "action stills" doesn't quite evince the same mood.
