It's kind of hard to not buy into the hype when one of the most ingenious game developers since Myamoto is designing it and claiming it will be revolutionary. For good or bad, hype is what the media does. Wright should have shut up about it instead of building stratospheric expectations for what turned out to be a mildly engaging software toy aimed at kids. It's their job to not buy into the hype, at least if they want to actually provide the service that they claim to provide (i.e. unbiased game reviews). It was obvious after one play-through of the game that it was just a toy with little substance. The fact that they gave it such a high score shows that they are either biased or incompetent at their job. |
