Good grief. I just noticed the new pricing on Steam thanks to their european local currency. I can't help but laugh at this. They've swapped the currencies, but not the digits, so apparently, 1 USD = 1 EUR. Which in my case translates to a 40% or so increase in price. What happened to "cutting out the middleman reduces prices for the customer"? Retail copies are now officially cheaper than steam by a nice margin, and that includes local taxes (ie VAT).. Incredible. GG Valve.
