Fallout 3 Editor (GECK)

The Fallout 3 Website now offers the Garden of Eden Creation Kit (GECK) for Fallout 3, which allows the creation of custom content for Bethesda's RPG sequel. According to the accompanying blurb: "Users can create, modify, and edit any data for use with Fallout 3, from building landscapes, towns, and locations to writing dialogue, creating characters, weapons, creatures, and more." They have also launched a GECK Wiki to collect and share knowledge about putting this tool to best use. The editor is an 8.5 MB download, which is mirrored on AtomicGamer and FileFront.

Thank you Bethesda! I am excited to see what modders can do. There will be some brilliant mods, if Oblivion is any indication.
